Antelope Valley YouthBuild is dedicated to rebuilding communities and transforming lives by empowering young people through education, leadership, and skills training. We provide flexible scheduling, online and classroom-based education, career development, counseling services, and certified construction training to prepare members for success.

Leaders of the Future

Antelope Valley YouthBuild is a leadership development program that offers opportunity youth aged 18-29 an accredited high school diploma through our education partner YouthBuild Charter School of California. 

Our purpose is to offer youth a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment as well as helping them rebuild their communities and their lives. Participants spend six to twenty-four months in our program dividing their time between hands-on construction learning utilizing Building & Trades Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3), career training and project-based learning.

Participants serve their communities by building affordable housing and participating in Community Service Learning projects. AVYB offers classroom-based education, counseling services, certified construction training, career development, and community development; as well as courses in construction training and more. Our vision is to create a positive impact on a young person’s life by providing them with the opportunity and tools to be empowered as leaders of today for tomorrow

Antelope Valley YouthBuild is a leadership development program for opportunity youth aged 18-29 that combines education, career training, and community service to empower participants and help them rebuild their lives and communities.

Our primary goal is to provide youth with a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment that equips them with the tools and opportunities to become empowered leaders and create positive change in their communities.

Participants can earn an accredited high school diploma through our education partner, YouthBuild Charter School of California. We offer classroom-based education with a strong focus on career-oriented and project-based learning.

The program lasts between six to twenty-four months, during which participants engage in a variety of educational, career training, and community service activities.

Participants receive certified construction training through the Building & Trades Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3), providing real-world experience in construction while building affordable housing and participating in community projects.
